In this class, you will learn how to create incredible sugar cake topper designs that can be used for any celebration. We'll cover the most common tools and techniques that are used for this purpose, so you can then take what you've learned and get started on making beautiful creations of your own. You'll also get tips on how to make your creations look more realistic and professional.

Students will learn the following:

• Uses of gum paste
• Types of colorants that can be used
• How to make symmetric parts
• Color shading to bring depth and life to our creations
• Techniques to give color the gum paste
• Techniques of basic modeling sugar paste
• Preparation and structure for figures
• Drying times
• Techniques for perfect details

All figures in the course will be made by students with the guidance and assistance of the instructor and will be able to take them home afterwards.
